This wooden pre-writing board lets children practise the movements used to form letters before they begin writing with a pencil. The grooves guide the wooden ball along lines, curves, and shapes, offering a structured, hands-on tracing activity.

By following the different paths, children practise hand control, finger precision, hand-eye coordination, and left-to-right movement. They can repeat the patterns at their own pace to gradually become familiar with the movements that prepare them for writing.

Two models are available to support progression: a board focusing on basic lines and a board featuring more complex shapes and curves. Younger children can also follow the grooves with a finger before using the included ball.
